more progress on magny-cours deco + what's next

evening, dear readers! im back here after a two-and-a-half month long hiatus. how could i have forgotten about this blog for so long? dont ask me, i dont know either.

anyways, we've already had 4 races this season: phillip island, buenos aires, misano and monaco. all of these 4 have been won in great fashion by our local french frog eater, astro, who is now comfortable leading the standings into round 5 at magny-cours. apparently the fact we're now going to magny-cours has reminded me that ive got this blogspot.

ok, back on-topic: ive been working on magny-cours for  a moment, and here's what ive got  to show!

an aerial from the southern end of the facility.

an image showing both Estoril and 180 corners.

finally, a shot of the bridge in sector 3.

you should hear more from me from the development side of things (if i have time to write any more posts) within the next couple of days. the race is this weekend on sunday the 7th.

in other news: ive made a >2h long mix of 32 of my favourite artist, SHIKI, his songs. i made it as a passion project as well as to honour the legacy of the japanese trance and BMS producer 5 years after his tragic death.

final news: im planning on making music within the next few months. im unsure what, but i'll just see what i come up with and if i like it enough to turn it into a real hobby.

attached below are both a link to the video and an image of the tracklist. more info about the mix, who SHIKI was, and what he means to me can be found in the video description. have fun listening!

in memoriam - 5 years of SHIKI

anyways, merci mille fois for the read! i'll see you in the next one!

ROC - Progress on Magny-Cours deco

gooooooooood evening readers and fans alike, i'm back after a little pause.

while i've been gone i've gotten to work a bit on the magny-cours track for ROC, and it's going very well so far! while we've (yes, mister quadrant is also involved) only thoroughly done the pit straight and surroundings, it's already looking great!

i'll be showing you some picture below, but first, some of you may asking when ROC is actually gonna start competition for Season 7, but i cannot tell you as i'll get fired and my house will get burnt down. (probably mid-april unless unfortunate stuff happens)

anyways, pictures!

a car exiting the pitlane on a damp track (see the tyres)

a similar shot from above, also showing the grids

shot of the final chicane and the pit grandstands

a shot of the pit building and all the drivers

and finally, an aerial.

that's all for today, thanks for the quick read, we'll be back for more sneak peaks very soon as we're currently working on the track. have a good rest of your day, cya!

ROC - Magny-Cours progress

 good evening, it's me again!

i have some progress to share regarding my ROBLOX f1-esque racing league, ROC (youll see this word(?) a lot). in short, i make the tracks and the cars for this league in ROBLOX Studio and my co-founder (quadrant's the name) does the graphical stuff (think: liveries, posters, adverts, etc) and also does a lot of the props. basically: i do the technical stuff and he does the cool-ness.

for today, i have some updates to share about the track thats hosting round 5 this season, Magny-Cours in the french department of Nièvre. i've finished making the track surface with all its narrowing and widening segments as well as the pitlane and alt-layouts, and also done the white lines surrounding the track. i plan on making the barriers next, but this may take some time.

anyways, heres the pictures.

the track (clockwise) as seen from semi-above.

the complex alt-layouts at the Adelaide and Château d'eau corners

that's all for now, i hope to see you later (if i don't completely forget about this blogspot)
